In order to streamline the process of HTML email across Kantar Media, I designed templates that are both truth to the brand as well as forward thinking. The gradated hero imagery is a big part of the Kantar Media identity, so I wanted to use these in a very bold and striking way that would grab clients' attention. I did this through the use of large banners either as background imagery or a big portion of the top of the email. As for forward thinking, I made use of responsive media queries so the templates would fit on any device (phone, tablet), as well as having live text on top of the hero imagery. Until recently, editable text on images for email wasn't possible and still hasn't been implemented by many so I wanted to make use of the technology as soon as I was aware of it.
